A busy summer!!!

Hey! It's been a while!

This Summer has been super busy for me so far. I got booked full-time at GSP for the months of April, May and June to work on the Follett college catalogs. We worked on about 18 to 20 different school catalogs, and each catalog had any where from 50 to 150 shots depending on the size of the catalog. I have seen way too much ridiculous college apparel and spirit products. I'm glad to be done with that project.

At the end of June, Jessica and I moved next door and up stairs (still the same building as our old place) to a new apartment. It's much bigger and it has a new kitchen and bathroom.

Ajay drove his car out to Chicago at the end of June to find an apartment. He found one just a few blocks away on the same street as me! Now he's my neighbor, haha... We flew back to New England on July 1st and spent July 4th there. Ajay had a ridiculous going away party/roast at the Big Easy in Portland. He is definitely going to be missed by many people in Portland.

Last Monday we left in a moving truck to drive back to Chicago. We stopped along the way at Niagara falls for a mini vacation, and then stopped again in Cleveland for a night. It was a long trip and I'm very glad to be back in Chicago.

Anyway, check out my photos!

Michele's visit to Chicago

Michele visited me this weekend. I picked her up in a snowstorm on Saturday afternoon and it continued to snow all weekend long. We all had very wet feet.

This is us on the #66 Chicago bus heading downtown

View of the "Loop" from the women's bathroom in the Hancock building. The best view in the lounge! We also enjoyed a fancy cocktail and some yummy brie.

Tonight we are going to BobSan for some yummy sushi. Last night we had some Mexican food at the Adobo Grill. Michele flies out tomorrow morning.
